Survey shows strong backing for schools in youth health
A new survey conducted by Public Health Wales has shown that most people in Wales support schools and nurseries having a role in health and wellbeing outcomes for under 18s. The survey found high backing across various health areas, with particular emphasis on online safety, mental health support, and substance misuse prevention.
Public Health Wales is actively involved in promoting comprehensive health and wellbeing initiatives in schools and early years settings through various programs, emphasising collaboration with schools, families, and the broader community to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
