Sexuality and health among young people living with HIV in Sweden
The report is based on the first major survey among young people and young adults living with HIV in Sweden. The purpose is to provide current knowledge about the group’s health status, knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding sexual and reproductive health. The survey by Sweden’s Public Health Agency has found that respondents felt they had better health than other young people. However, parts of the respondents also indicated they felt that they could not be open about their HIV status (61%), experienced discrimination (30%), had had suicidal throughts (40%) and wanted more knowledge about their rights (74%).
