Living well across local communities – prioritising wellbeing to reduce inequalities, England

Living Well, developed through a process of engagement and consultation across the North West, describes a way of working to remove entrenched inequalities.

The opportunity to shift the focus in the direction of Living Well stems from a unique context – the recommendations of the Strategic Review of Health Inequalities in England led by Professor Sir Michael Marmot and the growing evidence-base which provides the business case for investing in health and well being for a range of organisations, beyond the NHS.
