Expert Review and Proposals for Measurement of Health Inequalities in the European Union

This report summarizes the most important findings of the project “Expert review and proposals for monitoring trends in health inequalities in the EU, which was funded and supervised by the European Commission and the Directorate-General of Health and Consumers (DG SANCO). Focus is made on readily applicable solutions that are based on data already collected or published by Eurostat. The basic aim was to make proposals and/or recommendations that will facilitate the monitoring of health inequalities and their trends within the EU area as a whole, as well as the EU regions, cities, social groups, etc.
