Europe’s environment report 2025

The European Environment Agency (EEA) has published its latest State of the Environment report, providing a comprehensive assessment of Europe’s progress on environment, climate, and sustainability. The report reviews trends and policy progress across 35 themes and 38 countries, offering decision makers and the public integrated insights on the central role of climate and natural systems in health, resilience, and sustainable prosperity. It includes a main report, thematic briefings, and country profiles, drawing on the expertise of EEA’s European Environment Information and Observation Network (Eionet).
