DRIVERS for Health Equity

DRIVERS (2012-2015) was a research project funded by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme. The main aim of the DRIVERS project is to deepen understanding of the relationships that exist in a European context between some of the key influences on health over the course of a person’s life – early childhood, employment, and income and social protection. In addition, the project aimed to analyse the methods used to assess these effects, so that they can be improved or new methods developed, in order to better determine the differential outcomes of policies and programmes on health equity.
