The Straight Ally Programme, UK
There are approximately 80,000 people in Nottinghamshire who identify as Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual (LGB). It is estimated that the Trust employs about 900 LGB Staff. Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Straight Allies Programme aims to increase support amongst each other to achieve true equality for LGB people. Our ambition is to have every member of staff, involvement volunteer and community member, who is able, to formally sign up to pledge their support.
