The Institute of Health Equity

The Institute of Health Equity is a leading institute for research, policy action and capacity building to address health inequalities in the United Kingdom. It aims to develop and support approaches to healthy equity and to build on work that has assessed, measured and implemented approaches to tackle inequalities health. The institute is led by Michael Marmot, who is known because of the Marmot reviews and has led a wide range of research groups on health inequalities.
