The Cork City Profile Report 2018 (Ireland)
The Cork City Profile Report pubished by Cork Healthy Cities, is a statistical and geographical profile of Cork City Local Authority area focused on Health and Social Inclusion.
The Cork City Profile provides an insight into the factors that influence the health of its citizens. It affirms that many of the determinants of health and wellbeing lie outside the health sector and are socially and economically formed. The report breaks down 74 “Electoral Division Profiles” (EDF) in Cork City to analyse their socio-economic characteristics. Such factors include housing, poverty, low educational attainment, unemployment, discrimination and social isolation.
