(Net)working Together – Public & private partnerships

The (Net)working Together (Samen (net)werken) series from the Dutch public-private network Everything is Health (Alles is Gezond) sets out experience and expertise for fruitful collaborations between public and private actors from a diversity of domains and disciplines for improving health and wellbeing. The publications distinguish three phases:

  1. Building a network. This phase includes, amongst other things, the identification of urgent societal issues, engaging in dialogue, and making a plan to tackle the issue.
  2. Further development and growth, including gaining expertise and sharing experiences with other networks, initiating impulses to keep the process going, and engaging with politics.
  3. Implementation and sustainability of results. This phase includes finding financing to ensure sustainability and man power, finding continuing support, and proposing structural measures for policies and practices.
