iHere – Digital HEalth liteRacy Education for vulnerable groups

iHERE aims to create a comprehensive, tailor made educational tool to increase the digital literacy levels of vulnerable groups. It is a two-year program (01/11/2020 – 30/10/2022), funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union.

The program is targeted to socially vulnerable groups –such as migrants, refugees, the unemployed, people on low-income and socially excluded groups. These groups seem to face various health issues due to lack of social support and difficulties in accessing the health system. Low levels of health literacy, lack of educational opportunities, physical and mental health needs of these groups are areas that need further study.
