iHeal Project

The project iHeal, co-funded by Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships in the field of adult education, aims to create a training programme to facilitate elderly people’s access to electronic health services. The project proses the design and development of an inclusive, interactive and user-friendly digital platform to equip and improve digital health literacy for the elder European population (50+).

It’s objectives are:

  • Provide tailored made tools and training to ageing populations with the aim of improving digital health literacy (the appraisal of digital health information and its use to improve health outcomes).
  • Understand and map the needs in relation to digital health literacy of elder (50+) EU Citizens.
  • Improve health literacy on non-communicable disease prevention, medication adherence.
