Health of People of Working Age

This technical report describes the results of the state of the art review regarding health of people of working age commissioned by the European Commission (EC), Health and Consumers Directorate-General (DG SANCO). The review aims to provide a state of the art picture of the health of EU working age population and of some of the activities which are relevant to improving the health of workers and enabling more people to stay in work for longer. It aims to provide a “tool” with useful facts and promising activities which can be used in and adapted to different national/regional or local contexts to further achieve and stimulate good health and well- being of the working age population.
