General Act on Public Health, Spain

This law aims to create the basis for the population to reach and maintain the highest possible level of health. Through politics, programmes, services, and all actions implemented by public authorities, enterprises and civic organizations with the objective of acting on the factors which influence health, preventing diseases and protecting people’s health both in the private and in the public sphere.
