Database: Equal Health Opportunities Practice | Praxisdatenbank Gesundheitliche Chancengleichheit

The Equal Health Opportunities Practice Database is Germany’s largest database of best practices on health promotion services, focusing in particular on vulnerable populations experiencing health burdens. The database was initiated in 2003 by the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA) and has since been located in the office of the Cooperation Network for Health Equal Opportunities. The practice database has been continuously developed and today also serves as an instrument for quality development in health promotion.

EuroHealthNet organised a Country Exchange Visit on Best Practices with German Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA), French National Public Health Agency (Santé publique France) and the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). More information, here.
