Crossing Borders at a Glance – Policy Brief

In the context of LISER’s Crossing Borders Research Programmes, researchers from Harvard and Bocconi University, have published a policy brief on stereotypes about immigrant students and discrimination in grading. The policy brief outlines how stereotypes can be measured and revealed. Their research suggests that becoming aware of one’s own prejudices helps counteract biased behaviour and can even induce positive discrimination.
