Closing the gap in a generation: Health equity through action on the social determinants of health

This is the final report of the WHO’s Commission on Social Determinants of Health (CSDH). The CSDH was established in 2005. Its purpose is to help countries and global health partners address the social factors leading to ill health and inequities. Specifically, the Commission focused on country action, civil society, and knowledge networks.
