Investing in Childhood

This paper aims to offer insights into recent trends and statistics concerning child poverty, with a particular emphasis on the function of national social protection systems and the European Child Guarantee (Child Guarantee).

To do so, it builds on the input, data, and insights received by Save the Children members and offices working in 15 European countries having answered a questionnaire drafted by Save the Children in February 2024:
