Germany – Multi-Generational Houses

Projects and programmes addressing underlying differences in health with some health involvement

Multi-Generational Houses are community centers located in districts with a particular need for development that provide support to disadvantaged groups, with an indirect impact on health through the strategic focus on housing and social inclusion. The Federal ESF Programme Multi-Generational Houses II” was launched by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth at the start of 2012. 450 Multi Generational Houses form part of the Programme II throughout Germany and receive co-financing by the European Social Fund (ESF) for a period of three years.
